As a producer, Optimal is dedicated to placing underrepresented BIPOC talent at the forefront.
Their first production, š„IGNITE Cabaretš„ in October 2025, was a showcase of music, drag, clowning, and burlesque
featuring queer artists from across the “South Asian” diaspora.
Features artists were (in order of images below):
Imogen Quest (host), Santosh Santosh (Drag Clown), Sam Astaroth (DJ & Sound Tech),
Kween (headliner, burlesque), Tifa Wine (Drag Aunty), marilyn yogarajah (eclectic music), and Optimal Tease.
Stage crew was Namitha (stage manager), Babe Sapien (kitten), and Zara (runner).
